Current Music: KOTOR Background Music March 9th, 2008: The Things I Deal With This week has been something else. Monday started off well enough. Got up about 7 AM to take my cat Luna to the vet to get spayed and de-clawed. This is Luna. The day went on after that well enough, then 2 o'clock hit and then Dr. Rose, the vet, called and said she was out of surgery and doing fine except they had a little accident. The doctor then tells me that during her surgery that her heart had stopped. At that point I'm somewhat worried. Dr. Rose told me she was fine, but her eye sight would off for a couple of days. Tuesday came around and I went to go her around 3. She looked good, but I could tell that her eyes were a bit off focus. The doctor tells me that she can't do anything strenuous for about a week. Well I get her home and she slept for most of the day until I had to give her her meds. The rest of the week was kinda dull. I worked on Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga for the last few days. Giving a cat an oral syringe is tough enough, but when you have to do it between the gum and cheek line, then it's damn near impossible to do. Thankfully today is the last day I have to give it to her. After that I can sleep in again. I have to go to bed early tonight though cause I have interview w/Carquest tomorrow. I'm hoping I get that job cause 1) I don't like the fact that I have no money and 2) I starting to go little stir crazy from not working in so long. And here's a funny little fact. I found out that had I not been laid-off from my job, I still would have lost it. Turns out that the company I was working for, Acme Lumber, is going out of business. Fancy that! Oh well. In other news, we finally got our bathroom re-modeled. Here's before, And here's after Definitely a whole lot better than before. Well thats the news for this week. Tune for more. December 9th, 2005: Am I Selfish or Am I Stupid? I did my final exam today and our teacher invited the class to a sushi bar to have some fun. So I decided that I'd go with a friend. Afterwords we went to Game Works to have more fun because tonight you could unlimited play for $15. So after about 2hrs. or so I get on the Battlefront shooter game. I don't how long I was on it, but the next I know I have an employee telling me to get off because I was on too long and other people were waiting. Now normally I would agree to that if it were for one thing, THERE WAS NO SIGN ON THE MACHINE SAYING HOW LONG YOU COULD BE ON IT WHILE PEOPLE WERE WAITING! If there was a sign then I would have left it at that. Usually when I get into a game, I'm very happy when you tell me to get off especially when I had gotten to a very high level. Maybe I'm ignorant or maybe I just don't like to give up certain things that easily I don't know but maybe it's high should work on that. On the good point of the day though, I may have past my Japanese final, but not sure until I get my scores back in a couple days. Until then, maybe I should work on my emotions a little and maybe improve. Current Mood: December 6th, 2005: Weird Weather I think that right now as Robin Williams once put it "The weather mans going I don't know what the fuck is going on! (Spins a wheel) Let's just what happens!" Cause seriously that's what I'm thinking right now myself, cause this weather is wierd even for San Antonio. In other news; Day 1 of repainting my house is complete. Day 2 begins tomorrow with the main coat. Current Mood: Current Music: Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine December 4th, 2005: My IQ Your IQ score is 115 This number is based on a scientific formula that compares how many questions you answered correctly on the Classic IQ Test relative to others. Your Intellectual Type is Word Warrior. This means you have exceptional verbal skills. You can easily make sense of complex issues and take an unusually creative approach to solving problems. Your strengths also make you a visionary. Even without trying you're able to come up with lots of new and creative ideas. And that's just a small part of what we know about you from your test results. : Never Hire a 2 Man Crew! From now on I'm going to make sure that my dad never hires a 2 man crew for anything ever again! We were supposed to have a central air system in our house 2 weeks ago and they are still installing it. They told us it would be ready today and now they telling us they will done by Thursday. These are the things that really piss me off. Your promised one thing and then it turns out to be a joke. Not to sound selfish or anything, but for once I would things to turn out they I want them to. Current Mood: December 2nd, 2005: Things will get better. I'm hoping that today will be better than yesterday. I have to go look for a job today because 1: I need money; 2: It sucks to be sitting at home with nothing else to do but clean and wash clothes. I still feel bad but not as bad as yesterday. I need to try and study for my Japanese final and I think I will go to friends place to study. Less distractions there than in my house especially our A/C guy Mr. Harris coming over to work on our central system today. I really hope he finishes with this before Sunday. December 1st, 2005: I Hate Bad Days! Today was one of those days were I felt nothing was going to get done and I was right. I woke this morning feeling bad with the biggest headace possible. The only thing I was able to do today was pay my cable bill, and that to me feels like a waste of time. I was suppose to study today for Japanese class but I felt too bad to do anything today. In short, "I Hate Bad Days!" Current Mood: Current Music: Dr. Demento-Beep, Beep |
